Birds within the city

 And breathe.

Well 5 weeks ago I was writing my city project proposal. Now i've created a visual journey within my sketchbook, design sheets and 3 x samples and 3 x box frames. 

Iv'e explored the theme of Birds within the City, influenced from my independent trips to various cities and places, collected primary and secondary research and then developed and progressed from that.

Screen printed windows and doors, appliquéd houses, stacked tea-cups, strawberries and birds.

I got to play with my 3 favourite yummy colours of mint green, strawberry pink and sunshine yellow. 

And now..

*drum roll*

My 3 box frames! All similar styles of colour, composition and technique, but all with one significant aspect that makes them individually unique.

My pigeons! As influenced from artist Kate Wilson my very own illustrated pigeons with quirky vintage stamped letters demonstrating my 3 favourite people.

All of which have they're own theme with imagery as influenced from the city!

I'm very proud of my boxes/samples.
